Safeguarding Notice

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff, visitors and volunteers to share this commitment.

Coastal Learning Partnership
School is currently open to children of key workers only; the staff at St Luke's hope you all remain safe and well during this difficult time. Home learning information can be found under the 'Learning' section of our website.

Year 3

Year 3 Tricks

Over the course of the year the children revisit Tricks from the previous years as well as learning these new Tricks:

Autumn 1

"Stand As If"

AIMS: To train mind-body connectins to mangage mental and physical 'states'

OUTCOMES: "I can change how I feel when I change how I stand or sit."

Spring 1

"Signal Change"

AIMS: To develop a mindful approach to own responses and actions and create choices around behaviour.

OUTCOMES: "I can use the traffic lights to help me be my best me."

Summer 1

"Ask How"

AIMS: To develop the use of empowering questions to create solution thinking around challenges.

OUTCOMES: "I can find the answer if I ask ; 'how.'"
