We are a Church of England School
Daily worship provides staff and children with inspiration and spiritual growth. We are well supported by clergy from the local parishes and have a special relationship with the church that founded the school, St Luke’s. Worship underpins the values of our school and nourished by it, we uphold our Christian ethos in all that we do.
Our values fit within Acceptance, Forgiveness and Responsibility through a love of Christ. Acceptance is shown through our inclusive approach where everyone is welcomed and differences valued. Forgiveness is an action that enables us to be direct and open. Shared and personal responsibility ensures that children, staff and parents have a sense of ownership and duty.
Together, we want our children to be successful learners; to learn and discover their passions and skills in an inclusive environment where everyone achieves the highest standards possible. We aim for our children to leave us as confident individuals, who have developed good relationships with their friends and adults. Children are encouraged to take responsibility and develop lively enquiring minds that enable them to make positive and informed choices.
At St Luke's every child is valued for their uniqueness, has the opportunity to meet their potential and make a positive contribution to school life, our local community and beyond.
