Year 4 celebrated Victory in Europe Day as the outcome of their Keep Calm and Carry On World War 2 project.
They invited their families in to share their rationing recipes, wartime songs, propaganda posters and poetry.
Many thanks to Chartwells, our hot school meal provider, for giving the children tasters of wartime favourites including spam, luncheon meat and pilchards!
“As the hook for our Water Water Everywhere topic, Year 4 visited the Sewage Treatment Works to help answer the question: What happens when we flush the toilet?”
