Year 2

Year 2 Tricks.

Throughout the year the children revisit the Tricks they learnt in Reception and Year 1 as well as these new Tricks:

Autumn 2

"Magic Circle"

AIMS: To train the mind-body to recognise a confident 'state' and be able to replicate this when required using a stimulus-response anchor.

OUTCOMES: "I feel strong inside when I make a magic circle."

Spring 2

"Big No"

AIMS: To develop the ability to say 'no', make voice and body language congruent with meaning and deal with manipulation tactics.

OUTCOMES: "It's OK for me to think first and say; 'no.'"

Summer 2

"Big Yes"

AIMS: To create individual opportunities for personal development through the engagement of new challenges.

OUTCOMES: "I can think first and say 'yes' to new things."
